Kids Discovery Factory (KDF) is the recipient of a $1,758 small grant from the Franklin County Community Foundation. The grant funds will be utilized to purchase transportation and storage solutions for Mobile Factory exhibits.
The Mobile Factory is KDF’s school and community outreach program, bringing over 11 science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) exhibits to kids in Preschool through 8th grade. Since its launch in the 2017, the Mobile Factory has brought hands-on learning experiences to over 17,000 kids within a 35-mile radius of Batesville, IN.
New transportation and storage solutions will help exhibits travel safer, make loading and unloading the truck easier and faster, and help the exhibits last longer. KDF is grateful for the support of the Franklin County Community Foundation!
